Why People Around the World Hide Essentials in Inner Layers

Most people assume that putting essentials inside inner layers is strange.
But globally, it’s far more common than you might think.

Travelers, runners, cyclists, military personnel, security professionals, and even everyday commuters have been doing this for years — not as a trend, but as a safety strategy.

Why?

Because inner layers are:

  • harder to access by others

  • less visible to pickpockets

  • more stable during movement

  • closer to your body’s center of gravity

In many countries, travelers are warned not to keep valuables in backpacks or outer pockets. Instead, they’re advised to store critical items closer to the body.

What we did with PREDICTION wasn’t invent a new behavior.
We formalized an existing one — and designed it to be comfortable, hygienic, and purpose-built.

This pocket exists because people around the world already understood one thing:

The safest place for important items is the place others can’t see or reach.
